Jacket Concept 01

This jacket began as a drawn concept that evolved through making, becoming more defined and personal with each stage of the process. Treating clothing as a disrupted archive, the surface fragments classical and religious imagery with graphic marks, text, and hardware. Acts of erasure and distortion challenge ideas of reverence, authorship, and historical authority, reframing the garment as a contemporary object shaped by intervention, damage, and reinterpretation.
